They have been named 2009 Neumann Scholars which
entitles them to full tuition for four years at an Archdiocesan High
School. Both students have chosen to attend Saint Pius X.

This year 920 students in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia were
eligible to take the Neumann Scholars Test based on their high
academic achievements in Catholic Grade School. 740 students
actually sat for the examination on January 31, 2009.
Based on James' and Zachary's dedication to hard
work and the support of their families and teachers here at Sacred Heart
School, they distinguished themselves as TWO of the most academically
talented students in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
A total of 44 scholarships were given out this year
and Sacred Heart is beaming with pride that two of our students have
received.
