Letter From the Principal

October 2008

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As in the past, I would ask that you prepare a Shelter in Place emergency zip lock gallon bag with a drink and nutritional snacks to be secured at the school in the event of an emergency situation. Be sure to put your child's name and grade on the bag with a permanent marker. These are due to the teacher by October 27th. The items will be returned to the students at the close of the school year in June.

Progress Reports are being distributed to those students who are not performing to the best of their ability. If your child received one, please go over the report with your child. See where they can improve and encourage them to try to improve before Report Card time in December. If you have any questions or concerns, contact your child's teacher to discuss it.

Make sure you mark your calendars for the following happenings at the school.

7 PM Monday, October 27

Home and School General Meeting

1 PM Friday, October 31

Grade 1 presentation of the Saints Parade in Church

Monday, November 3

UNIFORM CHANGEOVER into the Winter dress

I am asking that the boy's parents would see that their sons have haircuts that are neatly trimmed and NOT in their eyes or touching the shirt collar. Please cooperate with this request. Thank you.

By the way, in keeping with the spirit of our Philadelphia Phillies, Friday, October 24 is declared a Phillies Day at Sacred Heart. Please wear your Phillies shirt or hat or Phillies colors

God bless you. Sincerely,

Miss Dorothy Gudz

Principal
